Terms and conditions

1. RENTERS AND ADDITIONAL DRIVER’S AGE: For all categories of cars, minimum age is 23 years.
2. DRIVER’S LICENSE: It has to be Greek, European or International and have been issued at least one year.
3. ADDITIONAL DRIVER: There is an extra daily charge of 4 €.
4. MINIMUM PERIOD OF RENTAL: 24 hours.
5. PREPAYMENT AND GUARANTEE: A credit card is needed.
6. FUEL: It’s paid by the renter.
7. TAXES: The above prices include 24% VAT.
8. VIOLATIONS OF THE GREEK TRAFFIC LAW: All penalties are paid by the renter.
9. TRIP out of Greece and transfer by boat can take place only after written permission by ALMA.
10. ROAD ASSISTANCE: 24 hours per day paying 2 € per day.
11. BROCHURES AND MAPS: Are given for free after client’s request.
12. BABY SEATS, GPS AND SNOW CHAINS: Extra daily charge 3 €.
13. DELIVERY – COLLECTION OUT OF WORKING HOURS: From 21:00 to 08:00 there is an extra 15 € charge.
14. AIRPORT AND OUT OF TOWN: 0,30 € / Km.
15. CHANGES OF CAR TYPE: ALMA has the right to change the type of car in special occasions and when necessary.
16. PRICES’ CHANGE: Prices can change without previous warning.
17. INSURANCE: The rental rates include the following insurance coverage: a) Death or injury of third parties up to 500.000 € b) Material damages of third parties (not including ALMA’s car) up to 100.000 € c) For damages to the rented car, the renter is responsible up to the value of the car during the period of the accident minus 20%.
18. COVERAGE OF THE NON INSURED AMOUNTS: Renter’s responsibility is reduced to 600 € for categories A-C and at 750 € for categories D-F1, if he accepts to pay for every rental day 10 € for categories A-C and 12 € for all other categories.
19. FIRE – THEFT: The renter in case of fire or theft is responsible for the first 600 € for all types of car, if he has accepted with his signature all  the contract’s conditions and pays daily 5 € extra. Loss of personal belongings is not covered.
20. RELEASE OF THE INSURED AMOUNTS: Renters is released of the above amounts (par. 18 and 19) if he accepts to pay for every rental day 10 € extra. Even if he renter has accepted this coverage, is obligated for t he full reparation of the damages that he might have provoked in the car, underneath or to the tires and wheels, as well the damage after violation of the Greek Traffic Law or transfer by boat.
21. PERSONAL INSURANCE OF DRIVER AND PASSENGERS: It’s possible with extra 4€ per day and covers a) The driver up to 8.500 € in case of death or permanent total incapability b) the passengers of any kind of injury (death, expenses, or permanent total incapability) up to 500.000 €.
